The F. Ludwig Diehn School of Music at Old Dominion University has had the use of new first-class
pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2024-2025 academic year. This arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting music education. The instruments provided to institutions or otherwise made available will be sold at a significant discount from new retail pricing to perpetuate this valuable program and provide resources to the School of Music.
This event will be held on campus in the Diehn Center for the Performing Arts
1339 West 49th Street, Norfolk, VA 23529
A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, hybrid pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from such famous makers as Yamaha, Bösendorfer, Cristofori, Roland, Italia Fine Violins, and other instrument manufacturers, with a discrete selection of vintage Steinway & Sons pianos. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a 5-10-year service contract, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.*
